Gado Gado
Indonesian vegetable salad. The vegetables used below
are only a suggestion, you can use nearly anything that
is available to you. Do use at least 4 different vegetables.
Ingredients:
White cabbage, diced.
Green beans
Bean sprouts
Carrots
2 Eggs, hard boiled
Tomatoes
Peanut Sauce.
Prawn crackers.
Preparation:
Separately boil all the vegetables lightly.
Drain and arrange in layers on a dish. Pour the Peanut
Sauce over this. Decorate with the sliced egg and
tomatoes. Just before serving, sprinkle the crackers
over the sauce. Best enjoyed when salad is cooled down
slightly
